Steve Holland
I have been teaching golf for 23 years and every year is getting more exciting. This is my second season at the Jay Peak Resort. I am so happy to be part of Mr. Stenger's team up here and look forward to what the future has in store.
Prior to Jay Peak I was the head golf professional at the St. Johnsbury Country Club in St.Johnsbury, Vermont. I was at St. J for nine seasons. It was a great learning experience and I met a ton of awesome friends throughout the years. I made a decision to leave St. J to get closer to the roots of the golf game. My passion is teaching and Jay Peak affords me the opportunity to put 100% of my focus into instruction.
During the winters I spend my time instructing at the Pine Ridge Country Club in Beverly Hills, Florida. My fiance, Kristin Hervey, and mastiffs, Tebow and Monty, stay in Florida year-around.
I graduated from the University of Vermont with a business degree in 1993. I dabbled on the mini-tours from 1993 to 1999. I have been fortunate to be around golf almost my entire life.

My passion is of course golf, golf and more golf. Outside of golf I'm crazy about Mastiffs, my fiance Kristin and the Florida Gators. They are going to have an awesome football season this year with Tim Tebow returning as a senior...Go Gators!
My favorite golfer is Vijay Singh. Simply because of his swagger when he walks onto a range facility and his dedication to practice. Very few outpractice the big Fijian.
